B&G Package
B&G and its special projects distributor, On Board Marine Group, have designed the following systems:
Performance Cruising Package
•The B&G Zeus Multifunction Sailing Display, Using the recently release and already highly awarded B&G Zeus world’s first Sailing Inspired Multifunction Navigation Platform, coupled to a Hercules Performance H3000 processor. The new Zeus system consists of two daylight viewable screens of 8” or 12” providing dedicated sail navigation, weather grib and instrument data. The Zeus displays integrate with AIS, Broadband Radar™units and many more advanced modules. The Zeus GPS Antenna, ZG-50, supplies highly accurate position, speed and course data to the Zeus system five times a second, for smooth display update and high confidence in your position.
•The BEP CZone Integration, exclusive to B&G and Simrad products. BEP CZone integrates directly with the Zeus display, for “Total Control”, of the CZone system, and feedback from monitoring sources on the network. This reduces the number of control switches on the boat and ultimately reduces weight on board. See ELECTRICAL CZone page for full details on this integrated system.
•B&G H3000 Hercules™ Performance system with FFD and New HV Displays located in key locations the vessel and at Helm stations. B&G’s world leading bonded screen technology displays, produce real time performance numbers at large viewing angles, to the helmsman and crew. The MC²60 base system gives 4 20/20 HV Displays in the cockpit and single FFDs on each helm location. The nav station also receives a single FFD. The system can be simply expanded according for owners’ requirements and extra load cells and performance sensors can be added to further increase feed back.
Forestay Load Cell is included in the base system.
Dual Hull flush speed paddle wheel senders and mast rotation sensors are standard also.
Performance Options
Broadband 3G Radar™ allows the navigator to assess the relative position of hazards, distances off land and the presence of nearby shipping and fellow sailors. Combine with AIS for full overview of the surrounding waters. Using low power consumption technology and Instant-On technology the Broadband 3G Radar™ is ready to go when you are. No need to wait 60 seconds for warm up., This radar’s performance in the sub 6 miles is world leading.
B&G H3000 ACP2™ Performance Autopilot system with Graphical Pilot Display (GPD), gives immediate finger tip control of a true sailing autopilot. With new enhanced pilot computers come improved response rates that working with H3000 Performance, apply rapid and intelligent response to changes in wind and sea conditions.
The B&G H3000 ACP2™ is coupled to a high quality marine grade Stainless Steel Hydraulic Ram direct to the vessels quadrant.
GPDs are located at each Helm on the MC²60.
The RemoteVision Wireless Display and autopilot control is an optional extra on the MC²60 for shorthanded sailing In any sailing situation,it provides warning alarms and instant vessel control making it a great safety feature on board the MC²60. Worn around the neck, this vessel remote control, can change autopilot heading or give any sailing data while moving around the vessel.
